Tulsa, Okla. - The No. 23-ranked University of Tulsa's men's tennis team hosts the defending champion and current No. 2-ranked Georgia Bulldogs this Sunday at 1 pm at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center. Tulsa's 46th-ranked women's team faces off against No. 33-ranked LSU Tigers at 9 am.

The Bulldogs are defending national champions and are on a 32-match winning streak, they have not lost since 2006. Georgia has three nationally-ranked individuals and one ranked doubles team: The ranked are: No. 4 Travis Helgeson, the 2007 Polo All-American Champion; No. 17 Nate Schnugg; No. 67 Jamie Hunt and No. 46 doubles team of Jamie Hunt and Christian Virulli.

The undefeated Golden Hurricane men, 4-0, will try to use the momentum from defeating No. 42-ranked Stanford on Friday. TU, the highest nationally-ranked team in Conference USA, will counter with one individual and two doubles teams ranked. Senior Ricardo Soriano is ranked 44th, while Senior Andy Connelly and junior Ross Cunningham are ranked 5th and junior Arnau Brugues and Soriano are ranked 15th in doubles. Brugues, a two-time All-American, has not been ranked due to insufficient playing. Tulsa looks avenge its 7-0 loss at Georgia last year.

The Tigers will bring in a nationally ranked individual, No. 8 Megan Falcon and doubles team, No. 30 Staten Spencer and Mykala Hedberg.

The TU women, also the highest nationally-ranked team in Conference USA, 5-0, will try to continue its momentum after defeating Mississippi, 5-2, on Friday. The women's team will also attempt to avenge its 6-1 loss to LSU in Baton Rouge last season.

Next weekend women's team will host Texas-Arlington on Saturday, February 2 at 1o am and Kansas on Sunday, February 3 at 9 am, while men's team will face fifth-ranked Mississippi at 1 pm on Sunday, February 3 at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
