IRVING, Texas - Junior Clifford Marsland was named Conference USA Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the league announced today.

This marks the second time this season that Marsland has been honored by the league office, and the third time a TU player was won the accolade this spring. Alejandro Espejo was named C-USA Player of the Week on February 19.

Marsland enjoyed another solid weekend for the Golden Hurricane as the redshirt junior picked up a No. 1 singles victory, 6-3, 6-4, over Junior Ore of No. 14 Texas A&M on Friday. Marsland earned one of the two points for TU as the Hurricane fell 5-2 to the Aggies.
