TULSA, Okla. - The 38th-ranked Tulsa men's tennis team returns home to face No. 35 Nebraska on Friday at 5:00 p.m. at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center. The Hurricane enters the match with an 11-5 record after posting a 2-1 record at the Blue Gray National Tennis Classic last week.

Nebraska (11-5) is looking to break a two-match losing streak after falling to No. 22 Virginia Tech, 5-2, and No. 64 South Carolina, 4-3, last week. The Cornhuskers earned a program-best No. 25 national ranking in the March 16th poll before dropping its last two matches.

The Cornhuskers are led by a pair of nationally-ranked players in No. 81 Calin Paar and No. 82 Christopher Aumueller. Aumueller owns a 20-9 record on the season while playing in the No. 1 singles position, and Paar is 19-8 while playing No. 2 singles. Paar also teams up with David Bendheim to make the 73rd-ranked doubles team in the nation, which owns an 8-7 record this season.

The Hurricane is led by a trio of nationally-ranked players in sophomore Ashley Watling (No. 45), freshman Marcelo Arevalo (No. 88) and senior Philip Stephens (No. 114). Watling is 14-8 on the season with a 5-2 mark against ranked opponents, Arevalo is a perfect 4-0 in his first season and Stephens is 10-11 on the year.

Stephens and Watling also partner together to make the 40th-ranked doubles team in the country with a 17-6 record, including a 12-2 mark in the No. 1 doubles position during the duel season.
