Tulsa, Oklahoma - After playing seven-straight matches on the road, the 47th-ranked Tulsa Golden Hurricane men's tennis team returns home this Friday to face the 39th-ranked Tulane Green Wave at the Harwell Tennis Courts on the TU campus. The match will begin at 4:00 p.m. Admission to the event is free.

Tulsa (9-8) is 3-4 in its last seven matches but boasts a 4-2 record at home this season. The Hurricane is led by junior Dane McGregor, who is ranked 54th in this week's WingspanBank.com Collegiate Tennis Singles Rankings. McGregor broke into the national polls at No. 64 in the Feb. 24, 2001, edition of the WingspanBank.com Collegiate Tennis Rankings and was ranked as high as No. 39 on March 7. For the season, he is 18-5 overall in singles, 14-1 in dual matches and 5-0 against nationally-ranked opponents.

TU's top doubles team of McGregor and classmate Shriranga Sudhakara is ranked as the 30th-best doubles team in America. McGregor and Sudhakara are 13-6 overall in 2000-2001 and 11-3 during the spring season.

Tulane (7-8) has dropped three out of its last five contests. The Green Wave lost to 29th-ranked Arkansas, 5-1, this past Wednesday.

A year ago in New Orleans, TU fell to the then 41st-ranked Green Wave, 4-2.
