TULSA, Okla. - For the third time in the last nine years, the University of Tulsa will host the Conference USA Men's Tennis Championship from Thursday, April 16 to Sunday, April 20 at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

Tulsa is one of 11 teams competing in the tournament. The 10 other teams are Charlotte, East Carolina, Florida Atlantic, Middle Tennessee, Old Dominion, Rice, Southern Miss, Tulane, UAB and UTSA.

In eight seasons with the Conference USA, the Golden Hurricane has posted a 22-2 (.917) tournament record, including a perfect 6-0 record in Tulsa and has won six C-USA titles.

The Golden Hurricane also hosted the 2006 and 2011 C-USA Men's Tennis Championship and won both of those tournaments.

The tournament starts with three matches on Thursday with match No. 1, seeds No. 8 and No. 9, at 10 a.m. and match No. 2, seeds No. 7 and No. 10, and No. 3, seeds No. 6 and No. 11, at 2 p.m.

Match No. 4, seed No. 1 and the winner of match No. 1, and match No. 5, seed No. 4 and No. 5, plays at 10 a.m., while match No. 6, seed No. 3 and the winner of match No. 2, and match No. 7, seed No. 2 and the winner of match No. 3, plays at 2 p.m. on Friday.

Both semifinal matches on Saturday will be played at noon with match No. 8, the winner of match No. 4 and No. 5, and match No. 9, the winner of match No. 6 and No. 7.

The final match will be played on Sunday at 11 a.m.

The seeding will be determined on Monday morning based on the International Tennis Association poll.
