TULSA, Okla. -
The No.25-ranked Tulsa men's tennis squad will face No. 45 Michigan State in the first round of the NCAA Championship on Friday, May 10, in Waco, Texas.
The Golden Hurricane, 15-7, faces the Spartans, 14-13, for the first time since 2009, when TU defeated MSU, 6-1. Head Coach Vince Westbrook holds a 4-1 record against Michigan State. Competition will be held at Hurd Tennis Center on May 10-11.
"We're looking forward to the trip to Waco to face Michigan State," commented Head Coach Vince Westbrook. "We're going to face a Spartan team in the first round that plays in the one of the toughest conferences in the nation. We know how tough they will be and we look forward to this challenge."
