Men's Tennis Doubles Duo of Marsland and McCloskey Qualifies for the NCAA Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The University of Tulsa men's tennis doubles duo of senior Clifford Marsland and sophomore Dylan McCloskey qualified for the NCAA Division I Doubles Championship, announced by the NCAA on Wednesday.
Marsland and McCloskey received the automatic bid to the NCAA Championships by being the highest doubles duo ranked in the Conference USA and in the top-60 nationally to be one of 32 doubles teams selected for the championships.
Marsland and McCloskey are currently ranked No. 24 by the International Tennis Association on Tuesday, April 22 and have been as high as No. 19 on March 11. The duo has been ranked in the last seven polls this season.
The duo has posted a 17-9 record this season, including a 15-8 record at the No. 1 doubles position and has won the last six matches.
The singles and doubles competition will be conducted from May 21-26 at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Ga.
No. 45 Golden Hurricane (15-12) faces No. 27 Stanford (14-5) in the first round of the NCAA Championships in Waco, Texas on Saturday at 11 a.m.
