Tulsa, Okla. - Tulsa men's tennis senior Arnau Brugues was named to the ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District VI first team as announced today by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). It is the third-straight year that Brugues has been named to the Academic All-District first team.

The four-time All-American graduated with a 3.67 GPA in exercise sports science and is currently working towards his Master's of Business Administration degree. He has earned Conference USA All-Academic honors for the last four years, has been named to the C-USA All-Academic Team for the past three seasons.

Brugues is currently participating in the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships at Texas A&M University. He is the school's all-time career singles wins leader with 115 victories and single-season wins leader with 43 singles wins so far this season. The NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships continue through May 25th in College Station, Texas.
