University of Tulsa tennis student-athlete Juan Bertoldi, a freshman in 1999-2000, was killed along with two members of his family in an automobile accident in Argentina on Tuesday night. Juan and his family was returning home from a tennis tournament.

"We are deeply saddened by the death of Juan. He was an extremely energetic and bright young man who will be missed greatly. Our thoughts and prayers go out for him and his family," said TU Head Coach Vince Westbrook.
