Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa senior Arnau Brugues, the 2007 Conference USA Men's Player of the Year, is ranked third in ITA National Preseason Rankings. Teammate senior Ricardo Soriano is ranked 67th, while the doubles pair of sophomore Ross Cunningham and senior Andy Connelly are ranked 40th and the pair of senior Ricardo Soriano and senior Arnau Brugues are ranked 51st.

Brugues' preseason ranking this year is a TU school record; he held the previous record when he was ranked seventh in the 2006 preseason rankings. The men's team begins its fall action this weekend at the Courtyard by Marriott/Rice Men's Tennis Invite in Houston, Texas. Tulsa will host its first event at the end of this month with the Polo All-American.
