Men's Tennis Travels to Orlando for the USTA Collegiate Clay Courts

TULSA, Okla. - Four University of Tulsa men's tennis players compete in the USTA Collegiate Clay Courts in Orlando, Fla., starting on Thursday.
The Golden Hurricane recorded seven singles win and four doubles wins at the USTA/ITA Central Region Tournament at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center last weekend, where McCloskey and Bautista both went 2-1. Kirby and Gordon did not play in the tournament last weekend.
Kirby faces No. 9-16 seed Norbert Nemscek of North Florida at 7 a.m., Gordon faces No. 9-16 seed Max DeVroome of USC at 8 a.m., Bautista faces Nathan Rakitt of Georgia Tech 9:30 a.m. and McCloskey faces Tuki Jacobs of South Alabama at 10:30 p.m. on Thursday.
McCloskey and Gordon face the doubles team of Caio Gomez and Yannick Zuern of North Florida at 3 p.m., while Bautista and Kirby faces Daniel Leitner and Manuel Beldoa of South Alabama at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
After the USTA Collegiate Clay Court Tournament, the Golden Hurricane travels to Manhattan Beach, Calif., for the California Invitational from Nov. 1-3.
