POST MATCH QUOTES

Mississippi Head Coach Billy Chadwick
On win over North Carolina ...
"It's definitely hot, always at the NCAAs what makes it difficult is you have spring that we have had, it's been cool, it is hard to be use to the heat. So, we are very fortunate, I think that one we have played in the morning, that it was a morning match. North Carolina played great and every match was so tight, it was just a great college match."

Mississippi Player Matthias Wellermann
Talk about playing Georgia and advancing to the Elite Eight ...
"We played Georgia and lost, but the good thing is we don't play at their place. It really tough to play at Georgia, I don't know how their home record is, but think they didn't lose too many matches in the last four years at home. It is good we play here on a neutral site. I think we had a lot of support, it felt like a home match today, so I think we will have a great chance on Sunday and we will be pumped up. We felt like we should have beaten them last time and we will be at full strengthen on Sunday."

North Carolina Head Coach Sam Paul
Your thoughts about the match ...
"You have to congratulate Ole Miss. What a great college tennis match. It was three hours and 40 minutes. This was a great match. Ole Miss just played better in the bigger points. I'm just so proud of my team. There were a lot of tears talking to those guys. We have eight seniors that have given their heart and soul to our program. I'll really miss those guys. It's been so fun to work with them the last four years, and then the rest of our team. I'm proud of the effort we played with today. We came up a little bit short. You have to give Ole Miss credit. They played better on the few bigger points."

Did winning the doubles match give you some momentum?
"I think so. But you have to give them credit they were able to come back and win matches and beat us in some of our best spots. They have a great team. We have a great team. But that's the way it goes."
