HIGH SCHOOL -- Was a four-year letterwinner at Atlanta (Texas) High School . . . averaged 18.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game and was named to the all-region first team, the district MVP and was selected to the all-state game and to the Texas All-Star game during her senior season . . . completed her career as a three-time member of the all-area first team and a two-time selection to the all-district and all-region first teams . . . named her team's Newcomer of the Year as a freshman and was selected as the Offensive Player of the Year as a junior . . . led AHS to back-to-back undefeated district titles during her final two seasons and finished as the district runner-up as a sophomore . . . was ranked among the nation's top-100 players in several publications . . . ranked as the 86th-best senior in the country and 21st-best overall guard in the nation by the All-Star Girl's Basketball Report, while the National Roundball Journal ranked her 92nd overall in the class of 2004 . . . high school coach was Donna Walker . . . also lettered in softball and volleyball . . . during her volleyball career, she was a four-time selection to the all-conference first team . . . named the Newcomer of the Year in 2002 and was tabbed to the all-region first team as a senior . . . as a softball player, she was a three-time all-conference performer as a shortstop and was selected to the first team as an outfielder . . . also named to the all-area first team during the final three seasons of her prep career . . . selected as a the Outstanding Female Athlete at AHS . . . a member of the National Honor Society.
