Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa’s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.
TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.

FRESHMAN (2011-12) - Played in 28 games and earned a start against Utah Valley (12-3-11) . . . had two double-figure scoring games . . . averaged 3.4 points and 4.0 rebounds per game . . . led Tulsa in rebounding four times and blocked shots three times on the season . . . had five points and six rebounds against BYU (11-14-11) . . . pulled down five boards vs. Arkansas State (11-23-11) and Marshall (1-8-12) . . . had 10 points, and added two rebounds and two steals against Oral Roberts (11-29-11) . . . tallied seven points and three rebounds vs. Nebraska Omaha (12-28-11) . . . posted nine points and five rebounds against UTEP (1-12-12) . . . scored six points and added nine rebounds vs. SMU (1-29-12) . . . had eight rebounds against Houston (2-5-12) . . . tallied a personal-best 13 points, and added six rebounds vs. Tulane (2-23-12).
PRIOR TO TULSA - Was a four-year letterwinner at Norman North High School . . . posted 13 points and 13 rebounds as a senior . . . averaged 13 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals while shooting 64.5-percent from the field as a junior . . . owns the school record for single-season rebounds with 313 and for single-game rebounds with 18 . . . was a three-time all-Mid-State Conference honoree . . . earned OCA all-state honors as a senior.
