TULSA — A returning letterwinner and starter. 2000-2001 — Started 16 of 28 games in her first season at Tulsa . . . season numbers included 3.8 (105) points and 1.5 (42) rebounds . . . recorded season-bests of 10 points and five rebounds vs. #14 Oklahoma . . . connected on 3-of-4 field goal attempts and finished with seven points vs. UTEP (1-21) . . . was 4-of-8 from the field for eight points against UMKC . . . also tallied eight points vs. Rice (2-23) and Hawaii (3-7) . . . dished out a career-high six assists vs. Hawaii (3-7). PRIOR TO TULSA — Was a two-year letterwinner at Monroe Community College in Rochester, N.Y. . . . in two seasons at Monroe CC, she averaged 10.8 points, 7.4 assists and 3.5 steals per game while leading the Tribunes to a combined mark of 66-5 . . . she started all 71 games . . . during her sophomore season, she averaged 10.0 points, 7.5 assists and 2.6 steals per game while playing just 26.0 minutes per game . . . earned first-team all-region honors and was a Division II National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) third-team All-America selection . . . shot 46 percent from the field, including 39 percent from behind the three-point line in 199-2000 . . . led the Tribunes to a 33-3 overall mark and completed the season as the NJCAA national runner-up . . . the 1999-2000 campaign also marked her second straight season as the nation’s assists leader among NJCAA Division II players . . . as a freshman, she guided Monroe CC to a 33-0 record, the school’s first undefeated regular season, and finished the year 33-2 . . . averaged 12.5 points and 7.2 assists per game and was selected to the all-region second team . . . she recorded a career-high of 24 points in the national tournament against Illinois Central College, the eventual national champion . . . junior college coach was Tim Parrinnello. HIGH SCHOOL — Capped off her prep career by helping Pickerington High School (Columbus, Ohio) to the 1997-98 Ohio State Championship . . . the Lady Tigers recorded a 26-2 overall mark and completed the season as the No. 2 ranked high school team in the final USA Today national high school polls. PERSONAL — A communcation major . . . born September 18, 1980 . . . one of three children of Von and Michael Williams . . . her uncle, Sam Clancy Sr., is a former NFL football player and is currently the defensive line coach for the New Orleans Saints . . . her cousin, Sam Clancy Jr., is a member of the USC men's basketball team.
