TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Trina Frierson scored 20 points, and No. 8 Louisiana Tech survived an upset scare to beat Tulsa 63-60 Saturday.

Amisha Carter's layup with 59 seconds left was the difference for the Lady Techsters (8-1, 1-0 Western Athletic Conference). Tulsa (7-4, 0-1) led six times in the second half.
