Tulsa, Oklahoma - Larrissa Williams totaled 16 points and 14 rebounds, leading Tulsa in both categories on Friday night, but it wasn't enough as TU fell, 73-53, to Marist at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. The Golden Hurricane moved to 2-3 on the season, while the Red Foxes went to 4-1.

Kara Vaughan and ReShawndra Jackson each tallied seven points in the contest, and Chanice Scott added six. Jackson also notched a team-best two steals, while Savannah Hamilton recorded two blocks.

The Golden Hurricane had a game-high five-point advantage five times in the first half, including jumping out to a 7-2 lead, but Marist battled back to take the lead with four minutes remaining in the first half and never looked back, owning a 27-24 advantage at the break.

In the second half, the Foxes went on a 23-1 run that spanned 7:34, and then climbed to a game-high 29-point lead with just 7:07 to play.

The Red Foxes were led by Rachele Fitz who notched 21 points and 10 rebounds, and Julianne Viani who added 19 points and five assists.

The Golden Hurricane will return to action on Wednesday, December 3rd at UMKC in Kansas City, Missouri. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. at the Swinney Recreation Center.
