Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Tulsa women's basketball team returns home to host UAB in Conference USA action beginning at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, January 15th at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the Reynolds Center ticket office.

The Golden Hurricane has a 7-6 overall record and a 1-1 mark in Conference USA, but fell to UTEP in the last contest. TU is averaging 68.6 points per game, shooting 40-percent from the field, and has amassed 108 steals so far this season.

Sophomore Ashley Clark has a team-leading 13.8 points per game, followed by Kelsee Grovey (11.0) and Mariah Turner (10.4). Clark also has a team-best 6.3 rebounds per game, 42 assists and 23 steals, while Grovey has 39 assists and 16 steals. Kadan Brady has 16 steals, and Stevi Parker has 15 steals and seven blocks.

UAB has a 9-6 overall record and a 1-1 mark in Conference USA, including a nine-point loss to UTEP (85-76) and a 63-57 win over Marshall last week. The Blazers are led by a trio of players in double figures, including Karisma Chapman (19.1), Ashley Grimes (15.7) and Chelsee Black (14.7). Chapman also has a team-best 7.9 rebounds per game, while Grimes has 34 steals, Black has 48 assists and Kayla Anderson has 34 blocks.

This will be the 12th meeting between Tulsa and UAB, as the Blazers have a 10-1 lead in the all-time series. UAB earned a 59-45 win last year in Birmingham, Ala.
