Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Tulsa women's basketball team returns home to host Marshall on Thursday, January 17th beginning at 7:00 pm at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the Reynolds Center ticket office.

The Hurricane, which has a 5-10 overall record and an 0-2 mark in C-USA, is led by Taleya Mayberry with 19.5 points per game and a team-high 61 assists and 38 steals. Tiffani Couisnard averages 9.3 ppg, a team-best 9.0 rebounds per game and has a team-leading 12 blocks, while freshman Kelsee Grovey nets 9.0 ppg and Loren McDaniel adds 6.9 points and 7.5 rebounds per contest.

Mayberry and Couisnard are ranked in the nation's top-125 in five categories according the latest NCAA statistics. Mayberry is 24th in points per game, 107th in assists per game (4.1), 109th in steals per game (2.53) and 115th in free-throw percentage (80.2), while Couisnard is 83rd in rebounds per game.

Marshall has a 6-9 overall record and a 0-2 mark in C-USA, and has lost their last four contests. The Thundering Herd is led by Shay Weaver with 10.7 ppg, while Chukwuka Ezeigbo has 8.5 ppg and Norrisha Victrum adds 8.2 ppg. Ezeigbo pulls down a team-high 6.3 rebounds per game and has 24 block, Suporia Dickens has 25 steals and Victrum has 38 assists.

This will be the eighth meeting between the two teams, as the Thundering Herd has a 5-2 lead in the all-time series, including wins in the last five match ups.
