The Tulsa women's basketball team will host FIU in Conference USA action on Saturday, January 18th at 2:00 pm at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. The Tulsa-FIU game is Dollar Day, so tickets are just $1, as well as popcorn.

The Golden Hurricane has a 7-7 overall record and a 1-2 mark in C-USA, and is looking to snap a two-game losing streak. TU is shooting 40-percent from the field this season, has tallied 119 steals, and is averaging over 68 points per game.

Sophomore Ashley Clark has a team-leading 14.2 points per game, followed by Kelsee Grovey (10.9) and Mariah Turner (10.3). Clark also has a team-best 6.3 rebounds per game, 50 assists and 26 steals, while Grovey has 43 assists and 18 steals. Kadan Brady also has 18 steals, and Stevi Parker has 15 steals and seven blocks.

FIU has an 8-8 overall record and a 2-1 mark in Conference USA, including a 96-88 win over FAU in their last contest. The Panthers are led by Jerica Coley who posts 28.8 points per game to rank second in the nation. She also has a team-high 70 assists, 23 steals and 18 blocks. Taylor Shade also averages double figures with 10.1 ppg, while Brianna Wright pulls down a team-best 8.4 rebounds per game.

This will be just the second meeting between Tulsa and FIU on the women's basketball court. The then 25th-ranked Panthers recorded an 84-45 win in Miami during the 1998-99 season.
