Tulsa Women's Basketball Team Hosts Florida Atlantic on Saturday

The Tulsa women's basketball team returns home to host Florida Atlantic on Saturday, February 8th at 2:00 pm at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. Tickets for the contest are $5 and can be purchased at the Reynolds Center ticket office.
The TU-FAU contest is "Hometown Heroes Day", which means any military member, fire fighter or policeman will receive four free tickets when they show their service identification at the Reynolds Center ticket office.
The Golden Hurricane has a 10-9 overall record, including a 5-3 mark at home, and a 4-4 mark in Conference USA, but is looking to snap a two-game losing streak.
Sophomore Ashley Clark has a team-leading 14.0 points per game, followed by Kelsee Grovey (12.0) and Mariah Turner (10.3). Clark also has a team-best 6.6 rebounds per game, 65 assists and 34 steals, while Grovey has 59 assists and 23 steals. Kadan Brady has 20 steals, and Stevi Parker has 18 steals and 12 blocks.
FAU has a 12-9 overall record and a 2-6 mark in Conference USA, winning just one game in their last five contests. The Owls are led by four players in double figures, including Chenise Miller (13.4), Latavi Dempsey (12.8), Kimberly Smith (11.7) and Takia Brooks (10.8). Miller also has a team-best 7.0 rebounds per game and 13 blocks, Brooks has 58 assists, and Briah Blakely has 38 steals.
This will be the first meeting between the Golden Hurricane and the Owls on the women's basketball court.
