The Tulsa women's basketball team will host Rice on Wednesday, February 12th beginning at 7:00 pm at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the Reynolds Center ticket office.

The Tulsa-Rice game is the Second Annual Ladies Day, which features vendor booths in the concourse, including Adorned Fashions, Besitos Peruvian Gifts, Janberry Nails and Origami Owl Custom Jewelry to name a few, as well as a Ladies Panel in the President's Suite. All Ladies Day festivities begin at 6:00 pm.

The Golden Hurricane has a 10-10 overall record and a 4-5 mark in Conference USA, and is looking to snap a three-game losing streak. TU is averaging 69.5 points per game, 38.9 rebounds per game and 7.6 steals per game, while shooting a solid 41.5-percent from the field and 32.9-percent from behind the arc.

Sophomore Ashley Clark has a team-leading 14.2 points per game, followed by Kelsee Grovey (12.6) and Mariah Turner (10.8). Clark also has a team-best 6.6 rebounds per game, 70 assists and 36 steals, while Grovey has 63 assists and 24 steals. Kadan Brady has 23 steals, and Stevi Parker has 18 steals and 12 blocks.

Rice has a 10-12 overall record, including a 3-6 mark in Conference USA, and is looking to snap a five-game losing streak. The Owls are led by Jessica Kuster who averages 20.1 points per game and 13.6 rebounds per game. Kuster also has team-bests of 36 steals and 29 blocks, while Reem Moussa has 74 assists.

This will be the 38th meeting between Tulsa and Rice on the women's basketball court. The Owls have a 24-13 lead in the all-time series, but TU won both games a year ago. In the last match up, the Golden Hurricane captured a 74-52 win in the first round of the 2013 C-USA Championship at the Tulsa Convention Center.
