Tulsa, Oklahoma - Tulsa returns home to host Rice on Sunday, February 17th beginning at 2:00 pm at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the Reynolds Center ticket office.

The Hurricane, which has a 10-13 overall record and a 5-5 mark in C-USA, is on a three-game winning streak. TU is led by Taleya Mayberry with 18.3 points per game and a team-high 87 assists and 53 steals. Kelsee Grovey nets 10.3 points per game, Tiffani Couisnard averages 8.4 points per game, a team-best 9.1 rebounds per game and has a team-leading 25 blocks, and Loren McDaniel adds 7.8 rebounds per contest.

Rice has a 10-13 overall record and a 2-8 mark in C-USA, and is currently on a two-game losing streak. The Owls are led by Jessica Kuster who averages a double-double with 16.8 ppg and 10.1 rpg, and has 35 blocks and 25 steals. Megan Palmer is just shy of double figures with 9.9 ppg, while Nakachi Maduka has 54 assists.

This will be the 36th meeting between the two teams, as the Owls have a 24-11 advantage in the all-time series, including a 56-53 win in Houston earlier this season.

Tulsa will host the 2013 Conference USA Championship, March 13-16, at the Tulsa Convention Center and BOK Center. The first two rounds will be played at the Tulsa Convention Center, while the semifinals and championship game will be played at the BOK Center.
