Tulsa, Oklahoma - The University of Tulsa women's basketball team will play host to Houston on Thursday, February 17th beginning at 7:05 p.m. at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for youth.

The Golden Hurricane, which has tallied a 5-14 overall record and a 1-10 mark in Conference USA ranks first in Steals (11.7) and Offensive Rebounds (18.1), second in Offensive Rebound Percentage (.400), and fifth in Turnover Margin (+2.4) and Rebounding Offense (40.2) among C-USA's best.

Taleya Mayberry has a team-leading 15.5 points per game, as well as 65 assists and 59 steals. Freshmen Loren McDaniel and Amanda Mason are averaging 8.6 and 8.0 ppg, respectively, while McDaniel also pulls down a team-best 6.5 rebounds per game and has 11 blocks.

The Cougars are off to a 20-4 start on the season, including a perfect 11-0 mark in C-USA. Houston is led by four players averaging double-digit points, including Brittney Scott (15.7), Porsche Landry (15.6), Courtney Taylor (15.2) and Lesslee Mason (10.3). Taylor pulls down 11.6 rebounds per game and has 48 steals, while Landry has 93 assists and Mason has 47 blocks.

This will be the 12th meeting between TU and the Cougars, as the Golden Hurricane has a 6-5 advantage in the all-time series, but it was Houston that picked up the 78-48 win earlier this season.
