Tulsa's Couisnard Named to C-USA All-Academic Team

Irving, Texas - Tulsa sophomore forward Tiffani Couisnard was named to the 2010 Conference USA Women's Basketball All-Academic Team, as announced today by the league office. She is joined on the team by Kim Gay (East Carolina), Roxanna Button (Houston), Tara Watts (Rice), Alice Severin (SMU) and Amanda Peterson (UAB).
On the court, Couisnard posts 4.3 points per game and 4.7 rebounds per game, while tallying 22 assists, 18 steals and 16 blocks on the year. Off the court, she maintains a 3.75 GPA in psychology, and was named to the Tulsa Dean's List and picked up C-USA All-Academic honors as a freshman.
The all-academic team consists of students who have earned a 3.2 cumulative grade point average or better and are a starter or key reserve on the basketball team.
