Tulsa, Okla. - The Tulsa women's basketball team hosted the annual Women's Basketball Media Day today at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. The Golden Hurricane has been practicing since October 3rd and is anxious to get the season started.

"I'm extremely excited about being at The University of Tulsa," Head Coach Matilda Mossman said. "I think we have a chance here to do something really special and my time frame is always sooner than later. I'm excited about the group of athletes that we inherited. They've given us everything we've asked from them in terms of their attitude, their commitment, and their work ethic on and off the court, and for that I'm extremely grateful to them. I'm extremely excited about our staff and their ability to teach the game, their ability to go out and recruit and develop relationships in the community and across the country in terms of brining quality student-athletes to Tulsa."
