Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Tulsa women's basketball team will play their first of two exhibition contests on Wednesday, Oct. 31st beginning at 7:00 pm at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the Reynolds Center ticket office.

TU is coached by second-year head coach Matilda Mossman. In Mossman's first season she guided Tulsa to 13 wins, the most for the Golden Hurricane since 2006, and to an 8-8 league mark for sixth place.

The Golden Hurricane team returns seven letterwinners, including three starters, and welcomes four newcomers. The roster features seniors Tiffani Couisnard, Taleya Mayberry and Jessica McQuin; junior Loren McDaniel; sophomores Kadan Brady, Amber Fleet and Mariah Turner; and freshmen Ashley Clark, Kelsee Grovey, Jasmine Vasquez and Antoinet Webster.

Mayberry, a Conference USA Preseason Team selection this season, has led Tulsa in scoring the last two years and assists for the last three seasons. She has scored in double digits in 56 of 81 career contests, amassing 1,126 points for a 13.9 ppg average. Of her 56 double-figure games she has scored more than 20 points in 18 games and 30 points once.

Couisnard led the Golden Hurricane in rebounds and blocked shots a year ago, while McDaniel was fifth in scoring, and second in rebounds and blocks.
