Tulsa, Oklahoma - The University of Tulsa Women's Basketball team will host the KSC Szekszard Hungarian team in an exhibition game at 2:05 p.m. this Sunday at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.

After suffering a 71-60 setback to the Australian Institute of Sport last Thursday, the Golden Hurricane will look for its first exhibition win in two tries and begin the regular season on a positive note. Tulsa's first game of the 2000-01 season is Friday, November 17 against 11th-ranked Oklahoma in the first game of the 2000 Bertha Teague Classic, which will be hosted by Oral Roberts University.

Tulsa will look to build on several solid performances from its game against the Australians. Senior forward Denise Wagner led all scorers with 19 points and junior guard Mia Williams was a perfect 6-of-6 from the field, including 2-of-2 from behind the three-point line, for 14 points. Junior forward Leela Farr collected a team-best eight rebounds.

Season tickets to Tulsa women's basketball games are on sale at the Reynolds Center Ticket Office. For more information, please call 631-GoTU (4688).
