Tulsa Women's Hoops Face Arkansas on Tuesday

The Tulsa women's basketball team will take to the road again on Tuesday, Dec. 10th to take on Arkansas beginning at 7:00 pm at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, Ark. The Tulsa-Arkansas game will be broadcast live on Cox Sports Television and can be viewed in Tulsa and Oklahoma City on Cox Channel 269.
The Golden Hurricane is off to a 3-2 start this season, but dropped a 65-54 decision to Saint Louis in their last contest a week ago. Sophomores Ashley Clark and Kelsee Grovey are both averaging double-digit points, including 14.4 ppg and 10.6 ppg, respectively. Clark has a team-high 7.0 rebounds per game, Grovey has recorded 20 assists and 11 steals, Stevi Parker also has earned 11 steals, while Parker and Autura Campbell both have two blocks.
Arkansas remains perfect with a 10-0 mark this season, scoring an average of 31.9 more points than their opponents. The Razorbacks are led by a trio of players scoring double figures, including Jessica Jackson (14.6), Keira Peak (12.8) and Jhasmin Bowen (10.9). Bowen has a team-high 6.0 rebounds per game, Calli Berna has a team-best 72 assists and 24 steals, and Jackson has 16 blocks.
This will be the 20th meeting between the Golden Hurricane and the Razorbacks, as Arkansas has a 17-2 lead in the series. In the last meeting, UA picked up a 64-56 overtime win at the Tulsa Convention Center a year ago.
