Jersey City, N.J. - After nearly two weeks off, the Tulsa women's basketball team returns to action on Friday, December 29th to take on Charlotte beginning at 4:30 p.m. CST in the first day of the Aeropostale/SPC Holiday Classic in Jersey City, N.J. Due to the passing of Saint Peter's College President Father James N. Loughran, S.J., the first day of the classic has been moved to the John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center on the New Jersey City University campus. The Golden Hurricane (4-6) will face Charlotte (6-5) for the first time in school history.

Tulsa will be led by senior All-America candidate Jillian Robbins who averages 17.7 points per game, 12.6 rebounds per game and 3.5 steals per game this season. Fellow senior Tandem Mays and freshman Destanie Gardner have combined for 49 assists this season, while tallying 6.8 and 3.5 points per game, respectively.

The 49ers charge will be led by junior Sabrina Gregory who averages 13.3 ppg, followed by Danielle Burgin, Traci Ray and Aysha Jones who are all posting nine points per contest.
