Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa’s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.
TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.
The Golden Hurricane Club, as the primary fundraising arm of TU Athletics, works to provide every TU student-athlete with the opportunity to realize a world-class athletic and academic experience.
Tulsa -- A four-year letterwinner . . . played in all 39 tournaments . . . had 10 top-10 finishes in her career . . . was a three-time all-Conference USA performer, earning second team honors as a freshman and junior and first team accolades her senior season.
2011-12 -- Played in all 10 tournaments . . . was named first-team all-Conference USA. . . also earned C-USA All-Academic team honors . . . placed among the top-25 in eight of 10 tournaments . . . had a season-best second place finish at the Ole Miss Rebel Intercollegiate . . . placed third at the C-USA Championship to earn all-tournament team accolades for the second straight year . . . also had a ninth-place performance at the Dale McNamara Invitational . . . had a 74.3 stroke average in 30 rounds . . . was named the C-USA Golfer of the Week for her 2nd place finish at the Rebel Intercollegiate.
2010-11 -- Earned second-team all-Conference USA honors . . . had her only career victory at the ORU Shootout . . . also placed third at the Claud Jacobs Intercollegiate and the C-USA Championships . . . was named to the C-USA all-tournament team after her third place performance . . . had a 75.6 stroke average in 30 rounds . . . placed among the top-25 in eight of nine tournaments and among the top-5 three times.
2009-10 -- Placed among the top-10 in three tournaments. . . had the second-best stroke average at 77.5 in 28 rounds . . . had a third-place performance at the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational as a sophomore.
2008-09 -- Was a second-team all-C-USA selection as a true freshman . . . had a team-leading 76.3 stroke average in 2009 . . . had a third-place finish in her collegiate debut at the Topy Cup in Tanagura, Japan . . . was named Conference USA Golfer of the Week once as a true freshman.
Other - Won the Norwegian Championship in 2007 and 2010 ... Shot a course-record 64 on the first day of the 2010 Norwegian Championship ... tied for fifth at the Felix Finnish Ladies Open on the SAS-Masters Tour (Sweden) ... has won two P-4 Tour (Norway) tournaments.
