Assistant Coach

Lindsay Jones was named as an assistant coach for the Golden Hurricane women's golf team in July 2012.

Before coming to TU, Jones spent the two years (2010-12) as the Girls varsity golf coach at Tulsa's Union High School, where she led the Lady Redskins to the Class 6A Girls Golf State Championship in each of her two seasons. She was named the Oklahoma Coaches Association Region 7 Golf Coach of the Year both years, and was also selected as the Tulsa World High School Girls Coach of the Year in 2011.

Before that, Jones served as the assistant boys and girls golf coach at Union High School for two years (2008-10). She served as the golf shop manager and assistant golf professional at Emerald Falls Golf and Country Club for one year (2007-08).

Jones also coached and taught at Holland Hall (Okla.) High School from 2002-07.

Jones played collegiate golf at Oral Roberts University, where she earned first-team all-conference honors in 2001 and was a second-team selection in 2002. She also earned academic all-conference accolades in 2002.

She earned her bachelor's degree in recreation administration from ORU in May 2004.
