Tulsa - Has played in 14 career tournaments ... played in four tournaments in Fall 2010 ... posted a team-high 74.2 stroke average ... shot a four-under 68 at the Dale McNamara Invitational where she finished second ... also finished second at the ORU Shootout ... tied for fourth at the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic ... as a freshman, played in 10 tournaments ... named the Conference USA Freshman of the Year in 2009-10 ... earned first-team all-conference honors . . . had a team-best 74.1 stroke average . . . turned in a 72.4 stroke average in 10 rounds during the fall campaign . . . placed among the top-10 in seven of 10 tournaments, and in 11th place at an eighth . . . captured her first career medalist title at the Johnie Imes Invitational . . . also had a second-place finish at the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational, as well as two third-place performances at her first col¬legiate tournament, the Texas A&M "Mo" Morial, and the Texas A&M-CC Classic . . . placed fifth at the Turtle Bay Resort Collegiate and at the Conference USA Championship . . . had Tulsa's best finish at the NCAA Central Regional as she placed 45th overall . . . was named to the C-USA all-tournament team.
Other - Played in the 2010 LPGA Safeway Classic ... won the Safeway Classic Amateur Open to earn a sponsor's exemption to the LPGA event.
Personal - "Had a club in my crib when I was a baby" ... favorite professional golfer is Tiger Woods ... parents are Louis and Chaok Ku Merkle.
