Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa’s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.
TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.
The Golden Hurricane Club, as the primary fundraising arm of TU Athletics, works to provide every TU student-athlete with the opportunity to realize a world-class athletic and academic experience.

2009-10 -- Played in all 10 tournaments . . . had a career-best fourth-place performance at the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational in 2009-10 . . . tallied a 78.3 stroke average in 28 rounds . . . also placed seventh at the Texas A&M "Mo" Morial.
2008-09 -- Played in seven tournaments as a true freshman. . . had a 5th place finish in her first collegiate tournament in the fall of 2008 at the Topy Cup . . . had a 79.0 stroke average in 20 rounds.
Other -- Qualified for the 2011 U.S. Women's Amateur . . . reached the round of 16 at the 2011 Oregon Amateur in Portland, Oregon and the 2011 Trans National in Sheridan, Wyoming . . . finished in first-place at the IGJT event in April 2008 with rounds of 69-78 . . . also placed first at the February 2007 IJGT event with identical rounds of 71 . . . placed first at the Silver Belle Tournament in December 2006 . . . had a second-place performance at the IJGT event in April 2007 . . . began playing golf at age 13 . . . her older brother, Chia-Che Liu, played collegiate tennis at Taichung University . . . her nickname is "Scooby" . . . born June 22, 1988 in Taichung, Taiwan . . . parents are Meng-Hsing Liu and Hywa-Ing Chen.
