Tulsa Women in 12th Place at Westbrook Invitational

Peoria, Arizona - The Tulsa women's golf team sits in a 12th place tie after two rounds at the Westbrook Invitational at the Westbrook Village Golf Club on Sunday afternoon.
The Hurricane shot rounds of 297-291 for a 588 total, while 19th-ranked Oregon leads the 54-hole tournament after 36 holes with a score of 553. Ohio State (559), College of Charleston (571), Wisconsin (574) and Indiana (579) rounded out the top-5 teams.
Tulsa senior Kayla Riede carded rounds of 74 and 69 for a 143 total that put her in 13th place, while Franziska Voellinger was one-stroke behind at 144 after scoring rounds of 71 and 73 to finish in 18th place after Sunday's rounds.
Antonia Von Wnuck is in 31st place after identical rounds of 73 for a 146 total, while Alex Haun is in 75th place with a total of 158. Tulsa freshman Nadia Majidzadeh making her first appearance for the Hurricane did not score in the first round, but shot a round of 76 in second round action.
Final round action takes place on Monday.
