Las Vegas, Nevada - The University of Tulsa women's golf team finished 10th in a field of 18 teams at the UNLV Spring Rebel Invitational at the par-72 Boulder Creek Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Kristina Merkle, a freshman from Honolulu, Hawaii, carded a team-best 220 score to finish 10th overall. Sophomores Shu-Yin Liu and Marita Engzelius turned in identical 227 totals for 34th place, while classmate Kamryn Ruffin was two strokes back in 56th place. Sarah Elliot was 77th with a 238 total.

UNLV claimed the team title with a two-over par 866 total, 12 strokes ahead of second place Texas. Texas Tech (886), Baylor (888) and Missouri (895) round out the top-five teams.

The Rebel's Therese Koelbaek turned in a six-under par 210 performance to capture the individual title.
