Tucson, Arizona - The Tulsa women's golf team finished the first day at the 54-hole Mountain View Collegiate in 13th place on Friday, as the two rounds were played on the first day. The Hurricane carded rounds of 308 and 303 for a 611 total on the par 72, 6,227-yard Mountain View Golf Club course.

Golfers began play at 8:00 am (MT) on Saturday for the final 18 holes.

Tulsa's Antonia Von Wnuck finished the first 36 holes in 34th place with identical rounds of 75 for a 150 total, while Karson Bizzell was in 42nd place after rounds of 80 and 72 for a 152 score. Franziska Voellinger began the day in 46th place with a 153 total after shooting rounds of 74 and 79 on Friday. Alex Haun is in 71st place with a 159 score and Kayla Riede in 75th place with a score of 160.

Nebraska led after day one with a three-over par score of 579 score and was followed by Kent State (584), Gonzaga (586), Kansas State (589) and Missouri (592) rounding out the top-5 teams.
