Gulf Shores, Alabama - The defending C-USA Champion Tulsa women's golf team carded a score of 304 on Monday and is in a fifth-place tie at the 2013 Conference USA Women's Golf Championship. Freshman Antonia Won Wnuck turned in a three-over par 75 and is in 14th place on the par-72 Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club Course.

Tulane shot three-over par 291in first round action on Monday to lead the 11-team field and is followed by East Carolina's 293 total. UCF is in third place with a score of 301, followed by SMU at 302 in fourth place. Tulsa is tied with Memphis at 304 to round out the top-five teams.

Senior Kristina Merkle and junior Karson Bizzell are tied for 20th place after turning in scores of four-over par 76. Senior Shu-Yin Liu is in 23rd place after totaling a round of 77. Freshman Jessica Lydia is in 45th place with a round of 82.

East Carolina teammates Nico Engstroem Skaug and F. Gustafson Spang are tied for the individual lead with two-under par scores of 70.

Tulsa will tee-off on Tuesday at 7:45 am for second round action.
