Shu-Yin Liu placed 15th at the Golfweek Conference Challenge on Wednesday as the Golden Hurricane finished the 54-hole tournament with a score of 927 at the par-72 Red Sky Golf Club.
Tulsa finished its second tournament of the season in 16th place, while completing the event with a final round of 309. Pepperdine captured the team title with an overall four-under par 860 score, while UC Davis (865), Oklahoma (881), Campbell (894) and Denver (895) rounded out the top-5 teams.
Tulsa's Liu scored a tournament total of 221 after a final round 78 on Wednesday for her 15th-place finish. Freshman Antonia Wnuck and senior Kristina Merkle placed 52nd overall with three-round totals of 232, as both Hurricane golfers turned in rounds of 76 today.
Freshman Jessica Lydia placed 79th overall with a 245 total, while junior Karson Bizzell finished in 86th place with a 249 total score.
UC Davis' Demi Runas turned in a 54-hole total of seven-under par 209 to claim individual medalist honors.
Tulsa will be back in action October 15-17 at the Maxwell Invitational on the Jimmie Austin Golf Course in Norman, Oklahoma.
