Tulsa Women's Golfers Post Third Place Finish at Dick McGuire

Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Tulsa women's golf team combined to shoot a 12-over par 304 during the final round of the Dick McGuire and finished in third place among a field of 17 teams at the UNM Championship Course in Albuquerque, N.M.
Tulsa concluded the tournament with a three-day total of 26-over par 902. The Golden Hurricane finished behind first place and tournament host, New Mexico (871), and second place Oklahoma State (887).
Leading the way for Tulsa were seniors Suzie Fisher and Julie Tvede. Fisher carded an even-par 73 today and finished in fourth place overall with a three-day total of two-under par 217. Fisher set the UNM Championship Course record on Friday with a seven-under par 66. Tvede began the day 14th overall and shot a two-over par 75 to finished one spot ahead in 13th place. She concluded the tournament with a five-over par 224.
Sophomore Cas Bridge tied Fisher for the best round of the day by a TU player with an even-par 73, and finished the tournament in 23rd place with an eight-over par 227. Bridge's classmate, Courtney Jones, was 10-over par (83) on the final day and completed the tournament with a 15-over par 234, which was good enough for 40th place.
Freshman walk-on Anna Christina Kindgren shot a final round total of 11-over par 84 and concluded the tournament in 79th place with a total of 29-over par 298.
On the individual leaderboard, New Mexico's Kailin downs, who led from wire-to-wire, posted a first place total of seven-under par 212. She carded a one-over par 74 during the final round.
