Tulsa Women Golfers in 13th Place at the Lady Tar Heel Invitational

Chapel Hill, NC - After the opening round of the Lady Tar Heel Invitational, the Tulsa women golfers are in a 13th-place tie with Wake Forest. The Hurricane carded a round of 315 on a cold and rainy day at the par-72 UNC Finley Golf Course.
Vanderbilt and Tennessee is one-two in the team race with 301 and 302 scores, respectively, followed by Duke and Virginia tied for third-place with 303 totals. Host North Carolina is in fifth place.
Sophomore Ashleigh Odgers carded a six-over par 78 and sits in a 43rd place tie, while freshman Livia Amado, playing in her first collegiate event, shot a round of 85 and was followed by junior Tara Goedeken's 86.
Duke's Jennie Lee was the only golfer to shoot even-par today as she sits in first place after a round of 72.
The 54-hole tournament will continue with the second 18 holes on Saturday.
