Tulsa Women Golfers in 18th Place at Betsy Rawls Longhorn

Austin, Texas - The Tulsa women's golf team turned in a first round score of 313 on Sunday and is in 18th place at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational. Miami (Fla.) leads the field after a 12-under par sore of 276 on a day filled with delays due to rain.
Tulsa sophomore Antonia Von Wnuck had the best round of the day for the Hurricane with a five-over par score of 77. Senior Kayla Riede and sophomore Alex Haun are one stroke behind Von Wnuck with scores of 78.
Miami turned a score of 12-under par 276 to claim first place after opening round action and is followed by UCLA (281) in second place, third-place Arizona State (283) and SMU and Mississippi State tied for fourth place at 284.
Miami's Dani Darquea and Mississippi State's Jessica Peng are tied for first place individually at five-under par 67.
Second round action takes place on Monday.
