Tulsa Women's Golfers In Seventh Place at Landfall Tradition

Wilmington, N.C. -The University of Tulsa women's golf team is in seventh place after two rounds at the Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, N.C. The Golden Hurricane carded a 290 in the second round after yesterday's first round of 310 for a 24-over par 600 total.
Wake Forest leads the field with a one-over par 577, while Purdue is in second place (586), followed by Michigan State (590), Virginia (592) and North Carolina-Wilmington (596) to round out the top five teams.
Senior Michaela Cavener turned in a team-best four-under par 68 in the second round for a 146 two-round total, the eighth-best in the tournament. Freshman Kelly Fuchik who tallied a one-under par 71 for a 151 total is in 20th-place, while Leisl Hasbrouck is one stroke back in 23rd-place. Tara Goedeken and Brooke Baker round out the TU scores, as they are in 30th- and 49th-place, respectively.
The tournament will conclude on Sunday at the Jack Nicklaus Course.
