TU Women Golfers Place 10th at The Landfall Tradition

Wilmington, NC - The Tulsa women's golf team finished in 10th place at The Landfall Tradition on Sunday afternoon.. The Hurricane finished the 54-hole tournament with a score of 963 at the par-72 Country Club of Landfall. Tulsa left its best round of the tournament for the last day as the Hurricane carded a 316 total. Virginia and Michigan State tied for the team title with scores of 902, followed by third-place New Mexico (904), Wake Forest (915) and Michigan (917) rounding out the top-5 teams. For the Hurricane, junior Leisl Hasbrouck finished in 18th place after turning in a round of 77 today for a 231 total. Fellow junior Michaela Cavener carded a round of 79 and finished in 28th place overall with a 235 total. Junior Tara Goedeken had a 251 total, sophomore Ashleigh Odgers scored a 252 total, while freshman Livia Amado totaled 255. Amado had her best round of the tournament and the second best round of the day for Tulsa with a round of 78. Michigan State's Sara Brown claimed individual medalist honors with a one-under par 215 total, to give her a four stroke victory.
