Tulsa, Oklahoma - University of Tulsa senior-to-be golfer, Kayla Riede, qualified for the U.S. Women's Publinks. Riede was the medalist with a qualifying score of 74 at Spring Valley Golf Club in Elizabeth, Colorado.

Riede will be heading to the national tournament for the second time. The U.S. WAPL will be played next week, June 18-23, in Neshanic, N.J.

Riede completed her first season with the Hurricane after transferring from Sacramento Community College in January 2011. She played in nine of 10 tournaments for Tulsa and finished the year with a 77.3 stroke average.
