Tulsa, Oklahoma - The TU women's golf team closed out the fall campaign with an seventh-place finish at the Nike Purdue Collegiate Invitational at the Kiahuna Golf Club in Kauai, Hawaii. The Hurricane will open the spring campaign, February 19-20, at the Central District Invitational at the River Wilderness Country Club in Parrish, Florida.

Tulsa carded rounds of 300-313-308 for a 921 total at the Nike Purdue Collegiate. Host Purdue claimed the team title with a 878 total, followed by Pepperdine (885), Kent State and UNLV (893) and TCU (907) rounding out the top-five teams.

Junior Michaela Cavener had her best finish of the season with a third-place performance by carding rounds of 71-74-72 for a seven-over par 217. Fellow junior Leisl Hasbrouck finished in 24th place with rounds of 71-78-81 for a 230 total.

Cavener's third-place performance matched her previous career-best when she placed third as a freshman at the Western Athletic Conference Championships.

Sophomore Ashleigh Odgers finished in 40th place with a 240 total, followed by junior Tara Goedeken in 43rd place at 243 and freshman Livia Amado in 45th place with a 249 total.
