SOPHOMORE (2011-12) - Participated in seven regattas . . . raced the Collegiate 8+ `A' to a fourth-place finish in the 500-Meter Grand Final Sprint at the Head of the Oklahoma . . . assisted the Varsity 8+ to wins over Kansas, Kansas State and Central Oklahoma at the Oklahoma Invitational . . . at the San Diego Crew Classic, raced the Varsity 8+ to a fifth-place Grand Final finish . . . helped Tulsa capture the Lawless Cup with a top mark in the Varsity 8+ . . . at the C-USA Championship, earned a fifth-place Grand Final finish in the Varsity 8+.

FRESHMAN (2010-11) - Participated in eight regattas . . . helped the Novice 4+ `A' earn a gold medal in a time of 16:47.81 at the Head of the Oklahoma . . . at the Head of the Hooch, recorded a third-place mark in the Open 8+ and a fourth-place finish in the Novice 4+ . . . posted a third-place finish at the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championship and a sixth-place mark at the San Diego Crew Classic in the Novice 8+ Grand Final . . . at the Conference USA Championship, registered a fifth-place mark in the Second Varsity 8+ Grand Final.

PRIOR TO TULSA - Was a four-year letterwinner in track and field and earned two letters in basketball at Brookfield East High School.

PERSONAL - An exercise and sports science major . . . born May 7, 1992 . . . daughter of John and Kim Nelson . . . was a C-USA All-Academic Honoree and was named to the Tulsa Athletic Director's Honor Roll as a freshman.
