Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa�s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.

TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.

AT TULSA - A two-year letterwinner.

SOPHOMORE (2011-12) - Participated in seven regattas . . . assisted the Second Varsity 8+ to wins over Kansas, Kansas State and Central Oklahoma at the Oklahoma Invitational . . . raced the Second Varsity 8+ to a top mark at the Lawless Cup . . . at the C-USA Championship, earned a sixth-place Grand Final finish in the Second Varsity 8+.

FRESHMAN (2010-11) - Participated in 10 regattas . . . helped the Novice 4+ `A' earn a gold medal in a time of 16:47.81 and the Novice 8+ record a fourth-place finish with a time of 16:14.77 at the Head of the Oklahoma . . . in the Novice 4+, recorded a fourth-place mark at the Head of the Hooch . . . raced the Second Varsity 8+ to a second-place Grand Final finish at the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championship . . . at the Conference USA Championship, registered a third-place mark in the Varsity 4+ Grand Final.

PRIOR TO TULSA - Was a two-year member of the rowing team at Denis Morris High School . . . also was a member of the swim team her senior season . . . led her Varsity 4+ to a fifth-place mark at the Stotesbury Cup and to a sixth-place finish at the Canadian Henley Regatta as a senior.

PERSONAL - A political major . . . born June 19, 1992 . . . daughter of Brian and Barb Schmidt . . . was a C-USA All-Academic Honoree and was named to the Tulsa Athletic Director's Honor Roll as a freshman.
