Hurricane Varsity 4+ Takes First in `C' Final at Lake Natoma Invitational

TU to host SMU on April 21st in Lawless Cup

AT TULSA - A four-year letterwinner . . . participated in 33 career regattas.

SENIOR (2011-12) - Participated in seven regattas . . . raced the Collegiate 8+ `A' to a fourth-place finish in the 500-Meter Grand Final Sprint at the Head of the Oklahoma . . . recorded a third-place time in the Championship 4+ and a sixth-place mark in the Open 2- at the Head of the Hooch . . . assisted the Varsity 8+ to wins over Kansas, Kansas State and Central Oklahoma at the Oklahoma Invitational . . . at the San Diego Crew Classic, raced the Varsity 8+ to a fifth-place Grand Final finish . . . helped Tulsa capture the Lawless Cup with a top mark in the Varsity 8+ . . . at the C-USA Championship, earned a fifth-place Grand Final finish in the Varsity 8+.

JUNIOR (2010-11) - Participated in 10 regattas . . . helped the Collegiate 4+ `A' earn a gold medal in a time of 1:46.90 and the Collegiate 8+ post a sixth-place time of 1:41.50 in the Grand Final Sprints at the Head of the Oklahoma . . . at the Head of the Hooch, recorded a third-place mark in the Open 8+ and a fourth-place finish in the Championship 4+ . . . posted second-place finishes in the Varsity 8+ Grand Final at both the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championship and the San Diego Crew Classic . . . at the Conference USA Championship, registered a fifth-place mark in the Varsity 8+ Grand Final.

SOPHOMORE (2009-10) - Participated in nine regattas . . . at the Boot of the Oklahoma, helped the Collegiate 8+ finish third overall and then capture a gold medal finish in the Grand Final Sprints . . . raced the Open 8+ to a bronze medal at the Head of the Hooch . . . helped post a sixth-place mark in the Varsity 8+ at the San Diego Crew Classic . . . at the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championship, assisted the Varsity 8+ to a fifth-place Grand Final finish . . . posted a top mark in the Varsity 8+ to earn the Lawless Cup trophy . . . recorded a second-place finish in the Collegiate 8+ at the USRowing Championship.

FRESHMAN (2008-09) - Rowed in seven regattas her freshman year . . . at the Wichita Frostbite, helped the Novice 8+ claim a gold medal, the Novice 4+ `B' finish fourth, the Open 2x `B' post a fifth-place mark and the Open 8+ `C' finish 10th . . . assisted the Varsity 4+ `C' and Novice 8+ to first-place finishes at the Lawless Cup . . . in the Novice 8+, claimed a silver medal at the Midwest Intercollegiate Rowing Championships, a bronze medal at the Knecht Cup and finished fourth in the Petite Final at the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships.

PRIOR TO TULSA - Was a four-year letterwinner in rowing at Matthews High School . . . finished in third place in the Women's Senior 4+ at the Stotesbury in 2006 and 2007 . . . claimed a gold medal in the Women's Senior 4+ at the Scholastic Nationals in 2007 . . . also rowed for the Mobjack Rowing Club.

PERSONAL - Majoring in exercise sports science . . . born April 30, 1990 . . . daughter of Frank and Yvonne Rich . . . was named to the Tulsa Athletic Director's Honor Roll as a senior.
