Tulsa Rowers to Compete at Two Regattas This Weekend

Hurricane to race at Knecht Cup and Lawless Cup

AT TULSA - A returning letterwinner.

FRESHMAN (2012-13) - Participated in six regattas . . . turned in a second-place mark in the Novice 8+ `A' and a sixth-place finish in the Lightweight 1x at the Head of the Oklahoma . . . recorded a gold-medal finish in the Novice 4+ at the Head of the Hooch . . . raced the Lightweight 4+ to a third-place time in the Grand Final at the Knecht Cup.

PRIOR TO TULSA - Rowed for the Long Beach Rowing Association . . . captured a top finish in the Open 4x and a second-place mark in the Lightweight 2x at the 2012 Southwest Regionals . . . turned in second-place finishes in the Lightweight 2x at the 2011 Southwest Regional, Youth Nationals and Club Nationals . . . posted a fourth-place time in the U-17 Double at the 2010 Canadian Henley.

PERSONAL - A biology major . . . born March 11, 1994 . . . daughter of Dan and Amy McGill . . . her father, Dan, was a member of the US National Rowing Team . . . was named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Tulsa Athletic Director's Honor Roll as a freshman.
